New Caliper paint
Just 'cuz I didn't have anything better to do today, I decided to finally get the 'Vette up in the air, remove the tires and paint the calipers.
It's an '04 CE vert in Lemans Blue. Decided to try the Duplicolor Caliper Paint Kit in yellow......
Whaddya think?

Looks sharp! Was that the brush on or the spray? I did the brush on in yellow and it took many many coats.

Looks good.If you add just a touch of paint thinner to those kits ,the paint goes on much smoother! That yellow ought to pop!

Thanks for the nice comments, y'all!
I thought the yellow would add a bit of pizzaz....and figured I could always change if I didn't like it. I think it looks great.
It's the brush on version.....The idea of a bit of thinner is interesting...I thought the paint was thin to start with. Would have thought it'd be thicker.
What you see are 4 coats.

They will look good with that paint scheme. If you could paint the raised letters to match the Lemans Blue that would be really cool.

I'd have to hire someone with a steadier hand.
Felt good that I didn't get yellow paint all over the place as it is!:o

It looks good. I did mine in red and used the same stuff I think I did 3 or 4 coats myself. The yellow really makes it stand out.

That is nice, and if you could do like "Louie Detroit" above said about the Lemans Blue letters, that would be sweet.
