Default Need a Shift Bypass locally

Whatsup guys, a new member here and everything i've read here has been nothing but helpful.

I'm picking up my z in a few days in Vegas and i need to know if there's anywhere in that area i would be able to get the bypass. I'd really like it before my 23hr road trip home.

If not then i'll simply have to order it and have it waiting for me at the house.

The CAGS kicks out at apx 20 mph,so don't grab second till 21...this will make it bearable till you get a bypass installed

Really nothing at all to worry about, it won't ruin your trip or anything. I don't have have a CAGS in my FRC and I don't think I hit the skip shift more than once every month or two.

If you know anyone with HP tuners, you can have them turn it off... Takes 10 minutes.

Don't sweat it until you get home...

It won't be a problem for you, and it can't hurt your car.

Have a GREAT drive!!!

Give Thunder Racing or Corvettes of Houston a call. Bet they could overnight one to you. Otherwise, just step down on the gas a bit more and the CAGS won't bother you.

You could just just shift into 2nd gear early also. I've been doing that lately. I just shift early and the z06 gearing is good enough to not even so much as hesitate.

I just need to order the bypass and be done with it...
