Depends on the style of mask. If it's impeding airflow to the radiator, then yes it will. Also since most masks are black, it more than likely is radiating heat to the ambient temp. sensor and causing the spike in outside temps.

I ran the GM bra on my car for 7+ years and it never caused any difference in the temps of the car. Unless some way it is blocking the air intake below the front fascia, I don't see how it could make any difference in the car's temps.

I use a colgan bra all the time down in very hot and humid new orleans temps and it is a very small change in temp, if you are gettting a hugh spike check underneath near radiator and see if something is caught in there and blocking, the bra alone should not be the cause.

Shouldnt have any effect at all as your vette is a bottom feeder and takes it's cooling air from beneath the car.If this has just cropped up I would look for debris in your radiator/condensor area.Look from underneath your car.Alos make sure your fans are working.
