Default Been feeling low until tonight..

Lately Ive been feeling a bit down [gettin old] until about an hour ago. We, wife & I, decided to bar-bque so she's off to the store to get some ribs, beer, etc. She fired up the Vette which we havn't driven for a couple of weeks because of a lot of rain. It's a "99" coupe, red, chrome wheels, borlas, gears etc.. I watched it go down the street and listened to the sound and it perked me right up! I've been thinking about selling it lately but now it's "hell no" to that!! Does your Vette ever put you in a better mood? I think these cars are better than anything to brighten your mood!

Hellz yeah it makes me feel better!
After the wife curbed my front splitter, I didn't even feel like driving it. But this past weekend, I took the new puppah for a top off ride, and VOILA, all was well again. Soon as I heard those Stingers growl, I started smiling.
Side note: I got the splitter all fixed, primed, painted, wet-sanded, and half of it polished. I'll finish it up tomorrow, put it back on, and she'll be fine as wine again!

I wasn't kidding with the other post, I was just feeling down but because of some of the good people on the forum I'm feeling much better about th whole situation.

My Vette always makes me feel better. Even though I can only drive it 6 months a year. During the winter months, sometimes I pitch a chair in the garage and mix a drink and just sit there, staring at the car, still seemingly awestruck that it's actually MINE. After 18 months it still impresses the hell out of me, even when just... sitting there. As well, the Vette gave me an excuse to join a local Vette club, which has put me in touch with many, MANY fantastic people; many of whom are very successful in life and very friendly. So this immersion, I find, is helping me learn some better life habits and be a better person. The Vette isn't just a car, that's for sure. I can honestly say it's changed my life for the better.

Puts a smile on my face every morning, just driving to work.
On the weekends,I take her out to some of the curvy mountain roads we've got around here, and every weekend I'm amazed at what this car will do.
These are roads that I used to consider a PITA to drive, but in the Vette,I just can't get enough.
A side effect, however is that I'm going to need new tires alot sooner than originally planned, but I don't mind a bit.

Every day when I come from a long day at work i just open the garage and look at her to cheer me up and remind me why I work so hard.... I also leave the hood up all ways to look at my engine bay and look at all that precious work I have done. It puts a grate smile in My face.

Every time I drive mail, I get a "smile on my dial", a great way to unwind and push off the troubles of the day. Worth every penny

Whenever I need to unwind, perk-up, get a little lift, or whatever....... the vette seems to fit the bill for it. Couple of miles and a few gears down the road and I always feel a lot better.

I go to work every day to pay for my bad habit. I just think of all the parts and stuff that I can buy with my next paycheck.

OK -- make it your DD. Then you are in a good mood very frequently. It's uncanny...
