I remember once I saw this city bus sitting at a light, two blocks ahead. when my light turned green , I flew up next to him and yelled "nice bus". He ignored me. I haven't gotten on a bus since. Freakin city bus drivers!
Now that's funny.
Almost made it worth reading the rest of this thread
Just after the C5's came out, a friend of mine who was an editor for Car and Driver told me Ferrari stopped letting them test cars for a while because the Vette beat them in shootouts, something to the effect, "you do shootouts with Ferraris, you get no more Ferraris, they must be in stand-alone articles". With that being said, a Z06 or C5 with little mods or a C6 could easily make those fragile over-priced car owners look, well, stupid, like they do the factory in shootouts...
I didn't want to race him because he "goosed" the throttle. I didn't drive anymore like a jackass than he did. And I didn't act like a jerk when I said nice car.
I don't dislike Ferrari guys. I know a bunch of them. I was friends with the owner of WTW for a long time as well. It's not the fact that he didn't say "thanks" that bugs me as much as the fact that he was looking dead at me, I said "Nice car" he paused for a good 2 seconds and then turned his head without any acknowledgement that I'd given him a compliment.
I like Ferrari's. The first time I rode in a 360 cab I felt totally top. But if someone said to me "Nice car" while I was in it, I wouldn't ignore them. I'd say thanks because I'm not an elitist. I've had guys in junkers, vans, trucks, etc compliment my Vette and I always took the time to thank them.
A car enthusiast is a car enthusiast no matter what they drive. I'm a good sport about everything I do, so it's unbelieveable to me how some people think that because they DO have a Ferrari that somehow everyone else is considered an untouchable.
Yeah, I think ever car community makes cracks at other car communities. I don't think it makes us look bad as much as you'd think, though. There's Ferrari guys on this forum that we all know wouldn't completely ignore someone if they said "Nice car".
I won't stereotype Ferrari guys based on this one dude. If I do see him again, I'll try one more time. I'll say "Nice car" and if I don't get a response from him, then it's a confirm on the douche-bag label.

Get a life. So he didn't respond. Get past it. You have to let us know you felt snubbed because he didn't say thanks? You sound a little psycho- maybe he picked up on that and just wanted to put space between the two of you. Maybe you said "Nice car" in a sneering manner. The gist of your post is "Ferrari's suck, Ferrari drivers are douche bags and my feelings were hurt". The only thing true is that your feelings were hurt. Don't tell us, tell your mommy.

step 1: remove stick from your butt
step 2: tell all the other members on this forum to do the same

I am a member here for the camaraderie and for the information. I don't want to see immature rants by misfits. These type of behavior is a bummer and I react negatively when I hear nonsense posted like the op presented. I should have just navigated off this thread. Sometimes one has to speak up for what is right.
