Hello I got my corvette not to long ago. I bought a 2000 vett with only 6500 miles on it. The corvette was in good shape but I just notices something new, both the left and right front rims are been cut by the brake Calipers. the right side is a little deeper then the left side. Is there a reason why this is happening has anyone had this problem before.
The only time I've ever seen/heard of this happening was back on my '88 T/A with C4HD front brakes and 17" wagon wheels up front..
One of the caliper bracket bolts wasn't torqued tight enough and ended up backing out and allowing the bracket and caliper to rotate enough for the caliper bracket to scrape the wheel.. yeah.. those bolts got REAL tight after that..
