Yea, those crummy little entry level Gallardos... If their owners were real car guys they would have them converted from conventional to vertical doors. Everyone knows that's what makes a real car guy

From my perspective (and this is MY perspective) - vertical doors are just a type unnecessary bling. Real car guys (who lean to performance cars) do the following:
- Improve their car's operation performance by keeping it in tune
- Improve the power and torque curve
- Improve the cornering ability
- Improve the braking ability
- Improve the efficiency and fuel economy of the vehicle
- Improve the safety of the vehicle
- Improve the ability of the driver to interact with the vehicle in high speed applications
- Learn how to drive their vehicle to its maximum capability by attending a driving school
- Understand why the designers and engineers built things the way they did so when you modify the vehicle you will understand the potential negative implications.
- Preventing, slowing, or if necessary restoring the vehicle from unnecessary degradation of the vehicle's condition
- Enhance the value of their respective brand

Lambo doors are actually unsafe for the driver, do not enhance the brand's image, and have no positive impact on the operation of the vehicle. I personally would never consider such a modification.

i have always said what someone wants to do with their car is their business. it is theirs and they should feel free to do what makes them happy. a real car guy is one who changes his car to suit his own tastes.
when they ASK for an opinion on what they're thinking or what they've done though, that's a whole new game.

I don't have them but I do like the way they look. The cost puts me out of the market.

I've seen them on an older C5 and they were beautiful. They were around $1700 after everything. The installation only required a slight bit of modification but nothing that couldn't be converted back if you had a problem. The only negative that this guy noted was that the doors didn't go as high as he was hoping as he had to kind of go around the door which he said took a bit to get used to but I will say that they looked cool

I don't like websites with misleading names, so I got mine at ricerdoors4u.com. I find it easier to trust a company that can admit what it's really selling.

It's OK, don't get upset. So you didn't know about Lamborghini doors, no big deal.

Ignorance is not a crime , and neither is hatin'

Obviously you can say that about ANY appearance mod.

Let me make something clear...I REALIZE the vertical doors are polarizing! People either LOVE them (at the shows I attend) or HATE them (in this forum). An appearance mod is just that...FOR APPEARANCE!

And as far as "enhancing the brand's image", many times I get a half dozen people or more at shows asking if they can get a picture taken sitting in my car, or tell me, "That's the most badass Corvette I've ever seen".

I'll leave it up to you if that means my car is "enhancing the brand's image".

Hmmmmmmmmm, checked out the site. Hinges seem real reasonable in price. Under $500, seem to be of quality material.

Never could understand $1200+ for 2 hinges and shocks...... Then another 2-500 for install......Always thought that they were overpriced.

Might be on to something if the product is a quality product.......

Let us know after the install..............

If you dont mind answering, how long have you had them on the coupe? Any air leak problems or water leaks? Did you have to cut the inner fender to mount? Do they open horizontally as well as vertically?
Thanks and great looking ride.

been on the car two years now. No problems with them at all
Open and close just fine and yes they do open out far enough to get in and out without raising them

inner fenders were cut yes.

if i had this as a daily driver i would never do it. But since i use my car for advertising its the best thing. People love these at car shows.

chicks dig them too its makes it easier to get a good pic when they are setting in the car.
