I think if I was you, I'd be opening the door accordian tube and checking for wires that are shorting to the frame. Something out of the ordinary caused you to have the door ajar message when it wasn't supposed to be there and now its gone, so something else is happening. There's a wire in there that will short to the frame and its been well documented. What I've learned over the years is that for the most part, the car will tend to warn you when something isn't right therefore sort of giving you time to address it. I know that sounds weird but it seems to be the case. So, you might want to address this and find the source of your issue before something else happens.
I have never seen nor heard of this situation before. Normally, you can open your door and immediately see in the DIC, "Door Ajar." As of yesterday, mine does not, it remains blank until I insert the key and turn it all the way to the "ON" position. Nothing comes in the DIC window at the "Accessories" position. The only mods I have done recently is install the CLB bypass and the "Hyper Flasher FIX harness. Are there any ideas what may have caused this to happen. At the "ON' position everything is normal in the "DIC." Thanks for reading and would appreciate your response.
