bsm removal
any suggestions.
i have goo gone and bug and tar remover
let me know

I used thick gloves to save my fingers, kept the hair dryer going & slowly used the sawing motion. It should get easier as you go toward the rear of the car. It's a "patience type job", good luck.
good luck

Hmmm! I must have removed mine the wrong way! I didn't use any fishing line at all. I just got an end up and once I had it started . . .I just grabbed on and pulled it off. That wasn't a big deal! Removing the adhesive tape half inch at a time, by rolling it off with my thumb. That took a little time. I liked the look much better when they where off. I then sold them on ebay for $150. The buyer was a happy camper and so was I!

DON'T OVER HEAT IT.
DON'T GET FRUSTRATED AND START PULLING ON IT.
DON'T PRY WITH ANYTHING.
BE CAREFUL OF WARM PAINT.
Warmed paint can be damaged so be careful. This process will take you an hour or two there is no race to be won. Don't take these short cuts, or you might damage the paint.
Now, you get the first one off, I usually recommend someone start with the short piece on the gill to get the hang of it first. Then using the hair dryer start heating up the remaining tape. Using your gloved finger and be real careful gently roll the remaining tape off. That will leave a slight residue. Use your goo gone or I preferred to use a can of 3M Adhesive Cleaner (spray from most auto parts stores) to remove the residue and any left over piece of tape that didn't easily roll off.
You may still have a slight mark after it is done along the edges. Using a paint cleaner like Zaino ZPC or perhaps 3M Perfect-It II (also from auto parts store) applying on a cold finish by hand or preferred by polishing buffer like a Porter-Cable Dual Action Random Orbital Buffer (aka PC DA).
This takes time and patience. If not you run the risk of damaging the paint finish. It's an easy procedure just tedious.
You can do this.
thanks everyone!!

that's what I said too
