Ok before anyone hoses me down for this idea... i wanted to know if the rear ducts on a c5 z06 have a hole in the rocker panel to bring air into rear wheel well to cool the brakes.
my idea is to cut out a hole and put this piece on a c6 and custom fabricate a rear brake cooling system.
anyone every hear of anything like this or am i pioneer?
any info//specs on that rear duct would be helpful, thanks

Yes, the duct is functional - i.e. it goes thru the rocker panel and has a duct that directs air to the brakes.
I've seen a number of people that have added the Z06 ducts to a coupe or convertible C5, but haven't seen anyone do it to a C6.
