i have a 02 c5 vert with 25K miles on it all stock...question is has anyone on here experienced a abs/traction control service warning and if so is it an easy or cheap fix? lastly will a heltech air intake along with borla stinger cat back exhaust help much with power gain,,, any suggestions i would appreciate thanks.

No its not a cheap fix if you have to replace the ABS computer, which is what I had to do. It was a $1300 fix. There are some places that have rebuilt ABS computers that would make it cheaper than that. You might not have to replace the computer though. If the message came up when you had the steering wheel all the way to one side and were moving, the the sensors might of been pulled on and it will send that message. I still get the message sometimes if im turning real sharp.
It could be as simple as a loose connector at one of the wheels, that why the codes are so important.
IF it is the ABS unit, then www.absfixer.com will do it for about $300 and there is a forum member I saw a while ago that will fix it for $99.
