What mods would you all suggest for a person who basically wants them to compliment what hardware he already has (ie no engine porting/new heads or cams) just basically passive stuff that would boost up the HP level on a 2002 Zo6?
DCD, I would airbox it, and get the PCM updated, to get the fuel trims adjusted correctly, this would leave you basically stock, with a 20/25 rwhp gain........couple that with a already 350/360 rwhp, and you will be in good shape.(370-385 rwhp).
For less than $1,000.00.............
AFY, you been around the Ricster too long!!!!!!..........elucidate........... heck I do that in my dreams............ :D
What I mean is, the Z's( '01's & '02's) are set way too rich at WOT, to bring TOP horsepower potential out of them.........
A Speed shop, with a dyno, can do a computer PCM burn, and set these fuel trims to the proper settings for TOP HP & TQ output.........
Talk to Ric about it, when he takes you for a spin......he has mixed emotions and feelings about it, but he can explain far better in person than i can on this dumb key board.......... :yesnod:
Does lowering an '02 make a difference in the way it feels/handles? Or is it just for show? I'm looking for less roll/more grip/better handling. Will this work?

I could not tell a difference after lowering--I could tell a difference when I increased the wheel size by 2" front and rear. I am now running 19's and 20's and it corners with no tire roll----less sidewall there to roll. :)
It was cornering great before, now it just looks better doing it-
