Msd coils bad ?
When I bought MY 02 Z06 a couple years ago it came with msd coil packs on a basically stock engine. On my way to a car show two weeks ago the car would start surging a bit when I would wind it up above 4,000 rpm's. I inspected coils and found one that looked like the outer part of it was separating. I installed originals that also came with the car and surging stopped. Has any one else ran into this ?

hey guy there was a post I saw somewhere on here where a man was trying to figure out if he should install his msd and he had a lot of people saying yes. And no if u can help me find him I would appreciate it

The MSD coils were JUNK.
The internal connections would become intermittent when warm and MSD knew they were crap.
I went through 4 and then sold them off after MSD refused to honor anymore warranty claims.
