Question about dash-2000 vette

Default Question about dash-2000 vette
Recently bought 2000 convertible vette and vin number on door says it is 2000 but dash vin is covered up and will have to remove the card or paper covering it. But the question is this- does anyone know why the tach and speedometer would have a "50" under the flags on the tach and speedometer??? Shouldn't that be a 2003 model that would have that?
