Default Corvettes and Planes

Just saw a thread for "Corvettes and Bikes". Gave me the idea to post this thread. I own a completely restored vintage 1950 Beech Bonanza. Here are my two toys. Post up your fly ride.

Nice! I love the Beech Bonanza V-Tail! I am an A&P Mechanic and am planning on working on my pilots license some day soon. Hope to have a nice plane to store next to my Z06!

Great looking combination

This is the best pic I have of my first love. I flew the F4 for 10 years

Then onto the Tornado. A cheat but you get the idea

Nowadays its a Cherokee Warrior

And here's one for sentimental value

Wow....that Beech plane is awesome. 1950 huh? incredible.....did you restore it yourself?

I truly admire pilots of any degree.....my family has airplane history in WWII.

Very cool.....

Many folks have climbed into my 'Vette and say they feel like they just climbed into a fighter jet.

thanks for sharing....I hope this thread just gets better...

Hi, If you count helicopters as planes, then here´s a pic of my old ride ('86 C4) with the helicopter I fly, the awesome Apache! I would say a nice picture of American muscle in the Netherlands!

Cheers,
Raymond

I need to get back in the pilots seat again one day.

first time I flew I was 11 (yes really), Beechcraft Sundowner. it was an intro city tour flight. I got the right seat and the pilot was so impressed that I was able to ID other aircraft in the sky and knew how all the gauges worked and what they meant that he let me take over. He thought it was amazing that when he told me to turn I put the aircraft into a perfect 30* bank and rolled level at the course he specified. I was surprised at just how easy it was, just like MS Flight Sim which I had been on for years. Thrill of a lifetime!

In 5th and 6th grade I flew Cessna 152's and 172's never finished it up though. I didn't solo or get my license. ran out of money too fast!

Love the F-4 Phantom pics. I worked on them for 4 years in the USMC.

Nice Beech Bonanza too - I got a chance to work on one in A&P school.
