Default Need some tire help

Hi

By January l would like to replace all 4 tire tires. The question is that l have the orig Goodyear runflats and originally l was just going to replace them with the same.

Being that l do not drive in bad weather (snow, sleet or snow covered roads) o l have a better option?

If l replace the Goodyears with reg tires can l still use the pressure gauges to monitor the air pressure?

I just read that a major tire company is coming out with a new 3rd generation run flat tire that really handles like a normal non runflat tire so there have beed improvements since 2002.

When l sell my vette (not presently looking to sell) will it make a difference if l am running regular or runflats?

Thanks

Alan

Yes, most non-runflats are superior to runflats as far as ride, curve-handling (less side-hopping), cost, and grip

Absolutely!

My guess is - no. While there are much-improved runflats out there, they all weigh quite a bit more than equivelent-sized non-runflats (6+ lbs each), but whether you switch or not depends upon your preference - piece of mind (even though odds of getting a catastrophic flat are extremely low) or better handling and ride.

I run the Goodyear GSD3s - incredible tires!

Thanks
