If someone stole my car I'd get over $10K more than I paid for it. I claimed all of my upgrades that were already on the car. Bought the car for $19.5K with HRE wheels and intake upgrades... The car was appraised at $32K.

I'm more worried about people damaging it than stealing it though. If it's stolen, I'd probably get all my money back from insurance. But if it's damaged (i.e. keyed), then that hurts resell value 
Plus I baby this car, I would feel like my efforts have gone to waste.
But in the end, it's still just a car. Do Ferrari owners camp out in their garages to make sure it doesn't get stolen?
