Stock one make the car look remote controlled. Chopped it down around 10" and lost some reception and was deathly scared to lose an eye bending near the car. Added the flares and never added it back externally. its flipped mounted in the side fender well behind the red signal lamp.

I couldn't stand the stock antenna made the car look like an RC car so I got Bitviper's antenna and it works great. He's a great guy to deal with also.

Funny thing is bought shorty antenna, C6 Z06 shifter before i buy Z. That huge antenna is so fugly and so is the shifter.

yep... shaved my antenna off and relocated it with a flex rubber one inside the bumper...
not the best pic but u get the idea...
