I think by doing this is just an open invitation for problems. I'm a firm believer in action speaks louder than words. Catch them in the act and be ready to face the conseqences of what you will do to that person ,once you have a hold of em!
I was out for Pizza the other night with the wife. Two guy's walked up to my Vette, one butt leaned on it while talking with his wife. I meerly pushed the FOB button and set the alarm off. He damn near soiled his pants.
Sounds like you have someone really PiZZED OFF AT YOU.
I believe your being STALKED!!!!!!
This is more than likely. Any angry ex's you know about? I've commented on one of your other threads, and I've spent my fair share of time in Edmonton, I've left my car overnight just off Whyte Ave. without incident, downtown @ Ceilis right across from G.M.C with all the kids, no incident. I've parked in every parking garage in the downtown core (jasper ave.) I've never had any incidents. Lots of thumbs ups, and occasionally some questions about the car, but no incidents.
Someone is very angry with you, that spoiler and those side skirts look great...but are making it easy for a stalker to ID your vette from the other black ones.
Goodluck,
Also, did you buy the car locally? If so you may be getting flack based on the previous owners driving or social habits. Just a thought.

Only had one instance of vandalism on my Vettes in over 24 years of ownership, and that was right after I bought my first one. Sorry you are having so much trouble with the jerks, but don't give up on ownership.

That's exactly what I was thinking. For someone to have there Vette vandalized, it happens. But as soon as you get it out of the shop for the same reason?
Someone's got it out for you.
When we hear of this type of vandalism, most of us think of some young punk trying to get his kicks. In reality however, it's people you least expect.
There was a thread earlier this year about a guy who had a Hummer H2 with a video security system installed. It busted an older man, probably in his late 60s keying the Hummer on both sides. Apparently, they tracked this guy down and he was upset over the price of gas and blamed every non tree hugger for the state of our economy.

Funny! I did the same thing a few months ago when I went out for dinner with the wife. It was an outdoor patio restaurant and we sat at a table right next to the parking lot and next to my Vette. I had parked (as usual) in the last stall near the grass center island on the passenger side. There was one slot open between my Vette and the next car when I saw a Ford F150 pulling in. I watched in terror as this guy tried to park this behomoth next to me and even with the extra space I gave him, he came very close to hitting it pulling in. When his wife opened the passenger door, she had to rest it against my mirror ! Even though she didn't hit the Vette hard, I still decided to press the panic button on the key fob. She jumped out of her pants and I heard her bitching to her husband to get a smaller car when they were walking up.
YES you are the only one. Just trying to make you feel better I used to think it was always the mustang guys but lately I'm convinced it's the green people! I parked next to a Prius the other day and it was very apparent where the envy came from. Don't be fooled by all the save the earth and green this green that talk, they are ruthless in their pursuit to assimilate us. Just for that reason you must resist and don't give up your Corvette, scratched or not. The rest of the Corvette brethren is counting on you to do the right thing
J/k, that blows but don't let it get you down.
Thanks, I need a little comfort at this point! LOL Rob

No I dont believe this is the case at all, they are all random and on other ends of town. I have my suspect list...like the kids I seen, or the girlfs neighbour kid (party animals)friends. I have been told that the probable reason is the car is TOO damn SHINY!?! Rob
I had someone spit all down the driver's side window of my car once. I was parked in one really wide parking space in my parking deck. I don't know if they thought I was taking two spots or not. Either way, it was underserved and I was pissed...then I considered the person spitting on it causes less damage than a bird pooping on it....so it didn't bother me anymore.
So sorry to hear about this. Your insurance company is not going to like you.
