I've read all of the threads on Rhino Ramps on this forum, some like them and some don't. I bought mine from Pep Boys for $40 and got the 12,000. They were wider than the 8,000. I also used the rubber mat under them so the back tires would take a bite and not push them back. I also made a double 2x6's for the front. I wanted to install the CAGS and also change oil. The setup was great for the CAGS, but a little too low for the oil change. I was able to do it only because I have long arms. Next time I'm going to use a 3 layer set for the front. Anyway the Rhino Ramps worked great. Here's a pic.
Just get another set of ramps, Drive the front wheels up on the first set, then jack the rear up and place the other set under the tires. It gives you plenty of room.
I looked at picking up a set of those but my car is too low for them to be useful so i had to make a set out of 2x8's. Looks like they work great for a stock height car though!
I bought the 8000lb version of the Rhino ramps and the plastic started to fold once my car was on them. I returned them the next day. They have an interesting weight rating system.

I have had those for years and even parked SUVs on them without a problem, strange....
I wonder if they are removing material simply to save cost....
Moike; I look forward to meeting you hopefully soon to do some exhaust work....

Did you get the 12000lb version? Maybe the 8000lb version is made for smart cars. The ramps didn't collapse or anything but the sides did start to fold and that's the last thing I want to see before climbing under a car.
For the exhaust work...I have a quote coming over for titanium to try to beat the other price I posted. We'll see what they can do.

I have two sets of Rhino ramps. One set I have had for over 12 years. I use this set for the front of the car. I lay down a foot long 2X10 and drive the front of the car up on them and then onto the Rhino ramp to keep from dragging the spoiler on the ramp. This is how I have been changing oil in my Z since I got it. Works well for me. If needed, I can put both ends of the car on ramps. I use them on my 70 all the time also.
One thing about using the ramps on an incline. I would be very cautious when backing up the ramps and the ramps on the pointing down the incline. It would be easier for the ramps to roll if you went up the ramp too fast and hit the brakes or stop hard. Just something to think about. YMMV.
