Berryman B-12 Chemtool
What do you guys think of Berryman B-12 Chemtool as a fuel system treatment for the C5?

I've never used it in the C5 but I've used it in plenty of cars over the years.

Clears the fuel gauge problem for me, but I generally use Techron. I use either product a handful of times a year, and they seem to work. If I don't use them, I get the gauge problem again, so preventative maintenance is the word.

I use Chevron Super in the Vette all the time at home, and whenever possible on the road, but when I have to use a different brand gas, I usually put a bottle of Techron in the tank for "peace of mind." Was just wondering if any other guys used Berryman, since I've never seen it posted, mostly posted are Seafoam and Techron. I think all three are good, and have had excellent results over the years using Berryman/Techron in my 2001-Camry, 117k miles, and 2000 4-runner, 157k miles, never an injector problem with either one.

I've tried it. Didn't work so well for me.

That's the most bizarre thing I've ever heard.

It surprised me, too. I just thought it was weird, but interesting. I had never used Chevron, or Texaco before, and it happened on a 3500 mile trip along US66 & I-40. I might just try using Chevron again and see if it reoccurs.

You can buy techron at auto parts stores, and you could add it to a tank that isn't Chevron just to see if it acts up. Then you could with pretty much certainty say your Vette is allergic to techron or not.
