Removed some bling
Bought my 04 back in April with some chrome on it. Didn't mind it. After reading all the posts on the "sexy butt" thread, I thought I'd remove the taillight chrome and see how it looked. Mine was a little tamer than his though.
I am getting used to it and think I like it better. Definitely not removing the chrome lettering or center brake light chrome. That I like.
Here are the pics.

I agree about the center brake light cover, however keep the exhaust plate as it peforms a function and covers an otherwise ugly area IMO.

Looks better. I would ditch the license plate trim too. It doesn't fit right. My 2000 had something similar and I found a replacement stock one from E-bay.

I have these too. Classy, imo.
The other ones are too thick.

I have all the chrome that you did, and I like it that way.
However if it were me, and I removed the tail light covers, I would go with the 3rd brake light as well.
But its your car, not mine.

I had installed the tail light bling on my C5 several years ago. After a short time I thought that it was too much and took them off. I like the "without" look better. Just my opinion.
