Rather Random Question
Ok, so my wife and I are expecting our third child and we generally let eachother pick either the first or last name. To make a long story short, she has agreed to make the middle name Vet, but we are unsure of spelling, so should I go with Vet, Vett, or Vette? I am thinking Vett but though it may be an interesting question to pose.
Obviously it is a girl, the wife picked the first name Izzy.
Thanks in advanced.

I'm for Vett.
You get the name you want but she will never be accused of being directly named after a car!

Vet would be generally referred to a veterinarian.
Vett is an acronym for various electronic technical terms.
Vette, is the nickname of the Corvette.
I think you have your answer. Best of luck to Mom and the baby, ten fingers, ten toes.

======
But I'm wondering how anyone would want to go through live named "Izzy Vette XXXXXXX." Since you omitted your last name from your profile, it's not possible to envision the whole name. (What if it's "Packard?")
FYI: My son's middle name is Graham after Graham Hill, the former British F1 driver. Bobby Rahal later named his racing son son Graham, by the way, after the same Brit.

Simple enough, feminine vs masculine: if it's a girl, "Vette", if it's a boy, "Vett".
