I'm looking at yet another vette halfway across the country. I drove the last one from Dallas to CA - but I'm lazy.
What companies have had the best bang for the buck regarding vehicle transport? My single quote was $850 from Missouri to California.
That seemed high considering flights are as cheap as $100 to St Louis.
Any recommendations of companies or strategies?

Wow! It costs that much to ship a car across the states? I only spent $800 to ship my BMW from Germany...but that was a few years back.
I have time and a flexible work schedule. Pay my expenses and I'll drive it to you for free.
