Default C5Z Headlight problem.

Alright so here is the deal. On my C5Z, when I flip the headlights on, the drivers side is always slower than the passenger on raising. Sometimes, the drivers will not come up at all, and I have to turn the lights on and off again to get it to raise. Recently, it has been getting worse. Sometimes it takes 30 or so trys to get the drivers side to raise. Obviously this issue is progressing and needs to be tended to. Now, firstly I would like to know if anybody knows where the source of the problem is, for example is it the motor, a connection ect. I always see cars with flip up headlights going bad, and obviously this is inevitable, they will always go out due to design.

I absolutely love the flip ups, but would consider going to non flip ups if they didn't look bad. Does anybody know where I can get a set of good looking non flip ups for the C5Z for a decent price? Thanks for any input.

Thanks sir. I would prefer to keep the flip ups, but I am also thinking of future problems that I might encounter. I do not have any weird noises coming from the headlights, so I am not sure if it is the gear. However, that guide will help me in the future when taking the headlights out in order to diagnose the problem myself if it comes to that. What I would like if I change from the flip ups, is a stationary headlight with a polarized cover, that way when the headlights are off, it looks completely stock. I am not sure however if these exist.

Any possibility it could be the motor? And yes I am not sure the technology exists either. I know it could easily. Just like polarized glasses, they are dark when the sun hits them. So during the day you would not be able to see through the lights, but at night they would become clear. Or something like this, the light from the headlights shining through them may defeat the purpose. I don't know, I don't claim to be an engineer ><

I am almost tempted to put these C5R headlights on it, but I'm just not sure. I almost like the smoke ones. My least favorite part of the C-6 is the headlights, and I am afraid if I go with these I wont like it.
