Tell Me the Truth
O.K.
I have had a real slow leak in one of my runfalsts for a while.
I took the tire and wheel to discount tires.
Told them to check it out.
Long story short they destroyed the tire.
They said the tire changer had a problem and they would replace the tire.
Now Discount tire did not have one on hand and had to order it. Took four days to get it in.
They call me today and said the tire was in and they still will replace it
but the rim will still leak.
And that is why the tire failed because it was under stress.
That is what runflat do.
I told them I would have to diagree with that and would come pick up the tire today.
What the ____!!
The tire has never gone flat, never been run low.
I always check the pressure the old way with a gauge before I move the car.
What is the truth ?

From your profile, your car is a 1999, and does your car have the factory waggon wheels on it? If so, they do crack on the inside lip, not the lip that you see, and they get about an 3/4" to 1" crack in them.

Not new rims but look very clean and shiney.
Were on the car when I purchased it six years ago.
