Default What 345x18 tires???

I'm thinking about at least rear flairs and widening my CCW Classics. What 345x18 tires are out there for the street? I'm more into "spirited" back roads than drag racing so that rules out a few. Not too concerned about wear but want a tires that are not going to make me scream like a little girl if I get stuck in the rain.

Suggestions???

Ive had the BFG DRs and they are a little slippery on wet roads, not as bad as MTs. I dont think you will find a street tire with tread in that size but look at 335 wideth. Keep us posted, cheers

Kevin you need a 315 up front then.

Those are very big street tires.

I run 305 & 335 or 315 & 345s* on the track. at high speeds they are great. but at slow speeds, if feels like a pig wollowing in mud.

for performance street use, IMO a 285 or 295 and 315 would be ideal.

* Hoosier 18x335/30 vs 18x345/35 are so close in width size that it is almost not noticeable. The 345/35 is almost an 1" taller so my gearing is different, and on some tracks that is what I want.

Thanks Tom,

I run 275 and 315's now. There are a few more tire choices in 335x18 for the street but I'd really like to do 345 is I can find a tire. Probably go to 285 or 295 on the front but no bigger. I'm putting LG's new coilovers and PFADT bars on the car so I will be able to set the suspension to my liking.

I have them on my car and they are sweet. FYI the street sways had to be adjusted to the highest point to stop the car from leaning in the turns. I had Z06 sways before the Pfadt and it took the highest setting on pfadt to keep the car level. There is no wiggle room left if desired.

Are you saying you run LG's new GT2 coilovers? If so, we should talk.

Thanks for the tip on the PFADT bars.
