[Z06] Whine while accelerating??

Hmm a blow-off valve? Here's where my mechanical knowledge leaves me at a loss. 
Is that something to do with exhaust? I'd really like for it to be fixed. It sounds ridiculous when people ask me to rev it, then it starts squealing!
The throw out bearing is also a plausible theory I think. It's just strange that it'll make the sound whether the clutch is in or out, and that it only makes the sound after the car is fairly warmed up (oil temp at 160 or above). It almost does have the sound of a squealing tea kettle that's boiling.
