Default Headers / X-Pipe / Catback Packages?

Coming from the world of imports to the Z06, I am still catching up a little bit on the mods front. Headers just isn’t something you worry about with the RX8 or the Mazdaspeed 3. I have been browsing the exhaust systems, and I see many package deals as far as Catback + X-Pipe or Headers + X-Pipe, but can’t seem to find any deals that have all three being sold together. Why is this? I’d really like to get the trio for $1,500 or under. (Not sure if that is possible) Ideas?

Probably not possible at that price point.. My guess is you're looking to spend ~$2000 or so. I think a set of LG Streets is like $1200, so tag on a set of Borla's and installation and you're looking at the $2000 figure.

I have the OBX headers and GHL BUllets in a package for 1549.99
I have the OBX headers and OBX Catback package for 1199.99

I wont have the headers for a couple more weeks as OBX is out of stock till the next shipment comes in.

The GHL Bullets can ship now as well as OBX catback( unless they sold out iun last 2 days)

let me know if you want more info on either of these options.

c5 bears fan

Are you offering any group buy or forum discounts for the obx lt headers on their own? Will they fit if I currently have a corsa catback and corsa x-pipe?

Thanks

Thanks

I can do another group buy if i can get enough interest again once the OBX headers come back into stock at OBX last time i did this was 649.99 shipped. This saved everyone the shipping

They will fit any catback just fine so your Corsa setup will bolt up

Do the OBX headers come with the x pipe? I'd be interested in a group buy. Already have GHL Bullets. Thx.

Check the vendors/catalogs - not just the exhaust section!

On the right side of the forum you can see all the Forum Vendors and then click on their site and check out the packages.

A lot of them carry the DynaMaxx set-up that comes complete with headers, Hi-Flow ctas, and X-Pipe - from there it'll be your choice of cat back exhaust (over the axle) but since you have the Z06 with the factory Titanium mufflers, you can combine them with the headers system and it'll sound a ot different.

I have the KOOKs headers with Hi-flow cats, x-pipe and the Z06 TI's and I am pushing 701 RWHP and 582 RWTQ through this set-up and it sounds awesome!

Thanks,Matt

Why not just try some LG Street headers/cats/x without new mufflers? Your stock Z06 titanium system will sound great (much louder/deeper), be lighter than any aftermarket cat-back and will be equal to them on the dyno.

Thanks guys, that definately sounds like a good option. So after Headers and X-Pipe, their aren't many catbacks that will flow better than the stock Titanium exhaust on the Z06?

Not really. There has been a few threads on HOW GOOD the T1 system really is and how little aftermarket systems increase HP over the stock Ti system

Now with major mods of just want to sound different then YES.

and the word 'catback' is really an import word. They are just plan old mufflers.

LT headers, high flow cats, x-pipe and mufflers / or straight pipes

my 00 frc with OBX/ blackwing/ ls6 intake made 340 rwhp. It is also 12.0 AFR on stock timing. Can prolly get 350 pretty easily out of it. So, I'd say that the OBX are just as good as any other brand out there. BTW, a stock 05 auto made 327 on the dyno RIGHT before me.

If I had to make the same decision again, i would DEFINITELY do it again. The OBX are nicely constructed, great metal, great welds, great fitment. Same issues with the o2 sensors not fitting under the stock unmolested tq tube shield just like other headers... but these things are NICE!!! very loud too lol.

IRON! Don't trip, let's both get them and ride like outlaws. I think I know of a shop that will ensure we pass smog .
