Battery charge question

Hi all,I have been using a new battery tender but obviously it didn'tprovide a constant charge on my vette's battery. I've placeda charger on the battery for 2 days, with no positive results ..Looks like a trip to the store for a battery . Any ideas of a good brand to purchase for my C-5?

I went with the Delco Professional 7 year but you will get a wide range of opinions all with good information.

I just went to the chevy dealership and they put the same kind of battery in the car as the original one was that was in their and my old battery was still working when i had it changed but it was from 2003 the year of my car.Did not want to take a chance since the battery was older did not want to get stuck out on the road some where so had it changed.The new one reads 6 year delco.
