I'd like to disable the panic button on my key fob. I inadvertently push it about once a week and cuss and swear while I fumble around trying to get in the car to silence the horn. Is there a way to disable the function?

Thanks!
You don't have to get into the car to stop it, Just hit the panic button again. Never heard of a way to disable it.
I posted about this once before, and I "think" one of the replies mentioned something about taking the fob apart and sticking a small piece of cardboard or something between the contacts under that button. I didn't actually try this however, so I'm not sure that it's easy or possible. But that's all I can really suggest.

Iv done this, a small piece of a matchbook cover cut to fit it prevents the contact of the inside of the fob button.
hahaha... i'm just glad to know i'm not the only one who does that!
"oh yeah, let me just pop the trunk..."
I've done this twice while my car was parked in front of the big picture window of the aerobics class room. The second time I just hung my head in embarrassment. :o
