Default Underside of trunk
Should the underside of my trunk be body colored or matte black? I have seen pictures both ways. How did the factory do it? It is a 2004 CE convertible.

How about DIY panels to match your carpet. Mine from the factory is black.

Came from the factory, black. Had mine painted, several years ago, body color. I think it looks a lot nicer.

I have a CE vert and from the factory it was matte black. Lots of options to change it or dress it up. Paint it body color, carpet 3 panels the same or contrasting color as the floor carpet, stainleess panels, carpeted single panel with the CE logo, carpeted single panel with CORVETTE logo , carpeted single panel with C5 flag logo, etc.

I made up a DIY Liner (cost about $10 IIRC) as I wasn't too keen on the original look. It's extra weight but I like the effect

I like that a lot! Are the templates for these panels available online, or do I need to make my own? Did you match the Light Oak carpet color, or is it just "close"?
