Corvette Track Days
Folks,
I have recently traded in my 90 C4 for an 01 A4 coupe. I am going to Corvette track days in Nevada this month.
A couple of questions, if you wish to provide an opinion:

- Should I rent a trailer to tow the Corvette out there (13 hours from home)?
- Any recommendations for spare parts?

If that is your first event, I would find one closer to home.

However, driving out and back would be fun.
Just change your brake fluid and put on NEW brake pads. NO Ceramic brake pads.
get some C5Z OEM brake pads.
Towing requires the right truck. 1500 pick up or better.
the right trailer, U-hauls are not the best for corvettes.
and experience driving a truck with trailer in the mountains.
many rental trailers do not have brakes

Thanks for the input. I will change the brake pads and fluid. I have a 3/4 Silverado that I use to tow horse trailers. There is a local trailer dealer, that I am going to check for towing the car. If they do not have anything suitable, I will drive out there.
