Which X-Pipe is best to decrease popping on deceleration? (NXT Step Exhaust)
Hello,
I have the NXT Step exhaust on my 04 Coupe and I love it. I want to further perfect it with an xpipe to reduce the popping on decel. Which X-Pipe best accomplishes this? I've seen generic ones, borla, bassani, etc.

I'm pretty sure most of them perform similiarly. Just get whichever one you like (looks wise) and fits your budget.
i did a lot of research on this subject and decided on the corsa. the whole theory around the x-pipe is to balance the pressures between the pipes. for that, you dont need the flow to intersect, you just need to have them connected at one point. maybe this thread will help you. read post #10 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-t...ch-x-pipe.html.

X-pipes will only do so much. You already have an H-pipe.
To be clear, decel popping indicates a leaner condition, so to make it disappear, you'd have to richen the mixture which decreases performance and fuel economy.
