Anyone with a wheel decal have a secret to getting them to stick? I cleaned it with alcohol ahead of time but its really hard to get them to stick to that material.
Would heating with a hair dryer help to get it to bend to the contours?

The one I have came with a primer liquid. I cleaned it with alcohol first and then applied the primer liquid stuff (3m makes it) and put it on. It doesn't budge.
What type of decal did you get? Perhaps the glue on it is not up to snuff. If you don't have the Cyberdine 3D, get it! They're the best. http://www.vetteworksintl.com/Cyberdine1.html
I had a hood liner decal that did the same thing, I bought some 3M spray adhesive and put it on the decal and then used a hair dryer and it worked great
The Cyberdine instructions say to use a good quality dishwashing detergent and a tooth brush and scrub the area two or three times where the 3D decal goes. Rinse completely after every scrubbing. This is how I did mine and so far they have lasted perfectly through the hot Oklahoma summer. It is expensive but 3M makes what they call Press-In-Place Emblem Adhesive. I've never used it but was reading about it on the 3M website.
It just seems like the tricky part is that its not a flat surface. The flat parts of the "flags" have set down fine but the circle parts of that thin area on the "pointed" part below have not.
Oh well, it was only $16. I can't take it up now without tearing or stretching it yet not all is stuck down. Typical for my luck.
Mine is a cyberdine as well from the "great auction site"! No issues with sticking. I did use laundry detergent and a toothbrush and cleaned it really good. Test the area with a piece of scotch tape first. If that sticks your golden...if not...keep cleaning!
