New shift **** design

I always wanted to try out one of those C5R shift *****, but thought they were a bit too tall so I made one that was shorter and a good match to my Mag Red paint. Unfortunately, while it was a good fit for my OEM shifter, it was a bit too tall for my BPP short-throw, so I hacked off about a half inch. Here are some shots of the before and after pics:

I'll be trying out the new shape this week. This **** is about 1.6 inches in diameter - just about perfect.

I'm not sure if this will beat the other types, Gerald, but I figured I'd give it a week. Here's what a C5R version looks like. The only difference is the height and the color.

Dave, I have one of your shift ***** (black) and it is awesome. I also have a delrin **** and like you are saying, it is too high. Are you going to make these in black also? I will order one.
