T84s have a glass lens and a faceted face which shapes the beam more effectively. The high wattage kit fits relays and a wiring loom and you can go up to a 135/90 W dual filament headlight bulb
HIDs in OEM reflector housings are illegal, but i have yet to hear of a single primary-source instance of an individual being stopped for them....much less the rumors of cars beeing impounded....

Not as bright as HIDs but easy to install and you keep the stock look

T-84s aree the next-best thing to HID-projector lighting. They are a significant improvement over the OEM domestic design, but are a far cry from Projector headlights.
Only if installed in stock halogen/reflective housings. If HIDs were illegal, every newish Lexus, Cadillac, BWM, Mercedes, Infiniti, Acura, Audi, etc. would be in violation.

There are SOME OEM reflector housings designed for HID use. You see them commonly on Caddy SUVs and in some Hella aftermarket lights. My Micro DE Xenons for example are HID reflector design.

I've had these for three years now. Easy to install, a vast improvement and stock looking.
thanks msg c5, I read what I said in a govt magazine...for you JWmotoring, if you dispute my claim show your proof...all you want to do is sell, I only posted what I had read for others to check out and be careful before they took the plunge. where is your research to back up your claim..nuff said, case closed.

I have had these for several years with the 135/90watt bulbs - these are the lights that should have come in the car from the factory (and did in certain overseas versions). They are heavy metal and glass instead of "plastic". They also look sleeker at night with the single-chambered lens on each side of the car.
As far as I am concerned they throw out the perfect amount and color temperature of light. If someone needs something brighter than these they either need their eyes checked or they are just installing something to annoy oncoming traffic.

Really? Tonight just pay attention to how many HID cars FACTORY or aftermarket that drive by you. I appreciate you trying to look out for people...that is actually really cool...but this one is kind of a pointless battle.
I installed the T-84 Euro lenses in my '02 Vert with 110/90 halogen H-4 bulbs and a custom made relay harness. It took about 6 hours to install and make the harness. Much better light pattern and output. By putting higher wattage or HID's in the stock plastic light housing all you are doing is getting brighter unfocused lighting. The T-84 Euros rock.
ok, I only stated what I had read, if untrue great for all, my intent was to comment what I read not get bashed by vendor, don't really care either way, this topic for me at least is dead...to each his own and listen to whatever people say and make your own decisions and be happy
radioflyer stated what I probably read, illegal in oem housing. everyone learns on the forum
