Default C5 cluster replacement

Hello,

I'm going to change my US cluster by an export one - speedo in km/h 0-300 (I'm living in France). Is there something to modify on new cluster ?
Thanks for your help.

Just plug and play, however they are not easy to come by.

You'll love it. I love mine. Do the kpa-psi and celsius-farhenheit conversion before the install. Easy how to post on the forum.

You'll have to have your actual milage inputted to the new cluster, OR swap the main mother board out of your old unit into the new one, which is waht I would recommend since you're in France.

Good luck and nice looking Z!

Ok ,thanks. Just to be sure, I have to "open" the US cluster and cross mother board with the new one ?
Do you have a pic of this MB?
Last question: Will it work with the US HUD unit ?

Thanks

Yes that is correct... I don't ahve any pics specifically of the mother board sorry. If you do a search for "swapping IPC" "Swapping Odometer" you should get some threads that show it very well. Several members have done this...

Yeah every IPC 99 and newer has the HUD connector built into it.

Great, just read chevy406's post. it's complete. Perfect.
One more question : Anything else to change or modify to change from a 0-200 mph to a 0-300 kmh cluster

nothing else to change you can also have the odometer recalibrated, put mine in years ago, I changed the water temp and oil pressure back to F & PSI makes more sense to me, the speedo in K's is a requirement here

I called customer service and was told that a local dealer of AC Delco parts has to be contacted for price and availability. I am working on that now.

A retail company who sells parts for Delco Electronics is AJR International out of Glendale Heights, IL. Website: http://www.ajrintl.com/ Phone: 630-832-0222

The cluster is $505.00 plus shipping and they accept VISA or Master Card. I spoke with Galyna and she was quite willing to work with you. If you could send them an email to lklein@ajrintl.com with the following information:

-Year, Make and Model
-Part # 10337628
-Current Odometer Statement
-Address and Phone Number
-Payment Information

You can reference me since I spoke with them...My name is Zack.

Hey! I heard from AJR this morning. They need your entire VIN # and an odometer statement from a local GM dealer. If you can get all of that info scanned and emailed to them, your order will get processed right away.

Hi Zack,
my VIN is a US one....if I want a canadian cluster I have to provide a Canadian VIN!!!!!
Unfortunatly there is no local GM dealer where I live. I can take a picture of odometer if necessary. I sent them the link where I bought my car in April. There is the mileage 6000, and the VIN. www.allvette.net look in sold cars, car n° 319
I will try to find a canadian VIN on Ads.
But just to be sure, you still awaiting an answer from ACDelco ?

Thanks .
Regards.

No, I'm not waiting on AC Delco for anything. I'm confused as to why you think you need a Canadian VIN?? I thought you had everything you needed?

Zack,

I'd like to applaud all the time and effort you've put into helping out a fellow Vetter the way you have! You've gone WAY out of your way!

You ever want any LED work or a Dim HVAC Display fixed... I'll hook you up!

how difficult was it to change the temp and oil pressure back to F
and PSI? I want the 300mph/kph speedo but leave the other guages as US.
