The C5 is just another used car on the market..its' value has dropped significantly due to the lack of demand by the mid aged yuppies that are the biggest used Vette buyers...the mid life crisis has been smothered by the loss of home values,stock values and of course job loses. YES many C5s are selling for under 10K..even the converts are not selling very well because of the lack of security you have....any roadside dirt bag can just slash open your car and get at you or your wife or just get entry to your car .All you need is a box cutter . I fifure my current loss on the used C5 I bought two years ago at about 6K.
