Default training message

Just by accident, I was driving in first gear for about an 1/8th of a mile (5 mph) waiting on my wife to catch up with me. During that time, I saw some message flash across the console that said something like "training activated or programmed" anyone have any idea what I may have triggered? It's a 2003 Z06. Thanks in advance. It almost seems like I don't have the same traction that I used to, of course that could just be my imagination.

Was it a curved road ? Only thing I can think of is "Active Handling Warming up", it comes on if the steering wheel is not straight when first driving car.

Default I think that was the message, but the car was straight.

Or at least, I think it was because the road was straight. Perhaps with me turning my head and looking over my shoulder, I may have moved the wheel. So, if that was the message, what will that do and do I need to turn it off somehow to make thing back to the way they were. I've only had the car about a week and just starting to get familar with it. ---- Absolutely the most enjoyable car I've ever had.

If it was the "Active Handling Warming Up" message then it just alerts you that it will not be able to aid you until it warms up. About 10 seconds after that message you should have got the "Warm Up Complete" message. It will not affect anything, once it warms up it is good to go. It was most likely just because of the cold waether, meaning the traction was much lower than you may be accustomed to.

I believe there is a method of training or programming your Tire Pressure Monitoring system by using the menus in the DIC, you might have accidentally toggled into the menu for that.
I have never done this but remember reading something about it.

Not likely. The process for getting into TPMs or Key Fob training is convoluted enough that you're not going to hit it by accident.

that it could be Active Handling Warming Up. If so, not to worry.
