Default Run Flat pics

Can somebody post a pic of run-flats useable and worn out.
Not really sure what a run flat looks like when it needs replaced. Thanks

They look like any other tire if the tread is worn they are worn out if the tread is good the tire is good provided they dont have a big hole in the side of them

Spaced evenly around the tire are wear markers inside the tread. They run across the tread and if they are even with the tread the tire is at it mininum safe operating depth. Most states say 1/16th of an inch of the surface is the minimum tread depth.

Consider switching to NON Runflats. My corvettes drive sooooooooo much smoother and quieter and have much better traction with my Toyo Proxies.
I couldnt wait till my run craps wore out. I hated them. I gave them a little help:





Just get ya an compact electric pump and a plug kit and forget about it.

no spares for our c5s. slime, plug kit, portable compressor. +1 for non runflats. I have yokohama 305 30 series rear and 275 30 front on 19s and they have tons of traction for street tires, handle, ride great and are quiet. wayyyy better than the stock run craps. Just be sure your prepared worst case scenario.
