I'm thinking about getting a Vette Net/Windscreen for my 01 Vert. What has been anyone's experience with one? Do they really work? Does it make a difference between Acrylic or Fabric?
Thanks.

I have an acrylic one and it sucks, too much handling in and out, it is all scratched... It can't be helped.
PM me and I'll fill you in on what I'm working on.

I have no opinion on the fabric model.
The do help with the wind buffetting.

i have an acrylic one and while it is a bit of a pain in the rear to mount and dismount it. mine has held up extremely well. i keep it in a cover to protect it when it's not up, and it is scratch free. if you do any highway driving with the top down, my opinion is that it is worth it and it works as intended. is it perfect, no but i doubt anything less than a unit that sticks up to the level over the top of the head will do much better. they make a unit that stretches between the two headrests to accomplish pretty much the same thing, and it is less expensive. i's not pretty, but it probably is effective.
you really can feel the difference on the highway cruising for long periods of time. i really don't use it for very much other than that as it really doesn't do that much at lower, around town type driving in my opinion.
