Default Help! vararam Intake problem

I cant seem to get this damn thing set up, i have it installed to what i believe correctly, now i cant get the radiator shroud (large black plastic piece covering radiator) to line up right so that i can screw it to the bottom of the front bumper again. I also can not get the radiator guard cover thing to go back on correct...what is wrong, i wasnt able to get one of the original bolts from holding the stock airbox out but it doesnt seem to be causing a problem..i know these things have been known to fit like crap but this is a bit ridiculous...

Open it back up, look at the alignment, make sure it's fitting up to the from bumper correctly.

If all that is fine, pull, tug, jack, force, pry, and hammer it all back in place. It fits like crap, but once it's back in, it actually is pretty much right. Helps if you have someone tugging from the top, too. It'll go, just needs a massage.

From most of the people I know and some of the forum members who have installed the Vararam, the quality was and is a piece of crap. Its probably best if you have someone else help you install it. I helped a buddy of mine install his and its a real pain in ***. Once its in if its in right its tight. But if all fails, put it back in the box, send it back.

Wow!
I can't get over the problems with this product everyone seems to be having. I bought the new one (B-2) with the new air bridge and installed the whole thing in under an hour, by myself. The only problem (if you want to call it one) was the red coupling to the TB was super tight. I have even cleaned the filter and reinstalled the system and no problems. Take your time, I suck at mechanics and I found it easy.
Sorry to hear about your problems, OP. I hope you fix them. You do feel a difference!

It is one of the most miserable installations of any part I have ever put on any car. Took me all day, and that meant a lot of beer.
