I know we all come from different backgrounds. Meanwhile according to Matthew DeBord's “GM does the same thing with Corvette, but there’s not very much Corvette hatred in the land, mainly because people who drive Corvettes are viewed as pathetic midlife gearhead hillbillies; if they had any class, they’d drive Porsches..”
I was wondering what your current age is and what your occupation. What was your first age of buying a corvette? Let’s see how accurate Matthew Debord’s is after all….
Age 31
Occupation – Representing professional athletes (Agent)
Age of my first corvette: 23
Im 52...Been a cop since I was 21 (same department)...also am an ASE certified auto tech and drummer...Bought my first Vette (1999 Coupe) when I was 44

I'm 32 and I do advertising sales for the car dealers. To me the Corvette still represents the best bang for the buck and the best value in terms of price for performance. I've wanted a Corvette for years and finally got my 2000 Millenium Yellow coupe 5/08. I live in South Florida and I drive my car every day, rain or shine. I know there are some preconceived notions about Corvettes and Corvette drivers but I don’t drive the car for what other people think. I drive it because looking at it and driving it still raises my heart rate.
25, operations manager for a plumbing supply wharehouse. Have had the vette a year. LOVE it. Its night and day from the Denali XL on 24's I had before. LOL
