Flowing with traffic is a lot different than flying 70 thru a 50 solo. You're just asking for it.

which is why i have a detector and not a jammer. from what i've heard around here. if you're going "noticeably faster" than traffic and a cop sees it, tries to speed check you and fails due to a jammer; you'll soon be pulled over and written a careless driving ticket {roughly $230 fine}

it seems possible that a good attorney could have a better than average shot at winning the case for you, howeverm that's still time and money you have to spend on the system

Well, the ticket I got was while I was with the flow of traffic...like 20 other cars and a large truck all on an interstate. I was picked out of the bunch, probably only because it was a red corvette. Don't get me wrong, if he had wrote me for my actual speed, no problem, busted and I'll pay the fine without a single complaint.

The same thing that happened to you in court happened to me twice in Burbank over here. It feels like a kangaroo court. No matter what you say, do, or prove you're guilty. The only two times in my life I didn't deserve a ticket, I fought in court with proof and lost both times. Ironically I won every other case I've fought in court when I'd probably deserved the ticket. So I call it a wash for me. But Burbank is known for corruption. No way to transfer cases from there either because Burbank is no part of the Los Angeles Judicial System. They've got their own.

In my case, it was in Washington State last year. Hired myself an attorney as well. I did all the math calculations thinking it was a radar ticket only to get into court and discover it was a lidar. Even at that distance, the beam width for the average gun would have been about 16 feet. So, how he was aiming at a license plate that I didn't even have and he couldn't physically see unless he was "superman", is beyond me but the court didn't care. Also, there were sufficient cars in the view at the angle he was at, at that distance, no way he tagged me only. Then his refusal to show it too me and then what surprised me was when he asked me what my business was up in that state? LOL, last time I looked the Bill of Rights gives us free passage. Yes, I was polite and answered his question but still...
