Not a bad price for this tire in my opinion. I only wish they offered them in sizes for the C2 & C3 Corvette.
I have had great results with Goodyear Tires on all my cars.
I am in the minority here, in that I replaced my C5 tires with OEM Runflats.
If you don't use runflats, I would use Goodyear GS-D3s, they are one of the best summer runflats. Goodyear A/S Eagles are good all season tires with an aggressive sports car tread pattern, they are cheaper and a good tire.
You would be surprised at how many parts on the American Vette aren't made here.
You would be even more surprised at how many parts on japanese cars that are ASSEMBLED in the U.S.A. aren't made here.
Whenever possible, I support American companies. These days the choices are very limited.
While I probably will go with Goodyears for the next reload, I'm quite satisfied that my Michelins were made by U.S. workers, and a good portion of the profits stayed with U.S. branch of the company:
PALEEEEEZ get real. all your electronics in your car are made in Mexico so what does it matter anymore just go out and drive the car and enjoy your U.S.A. freedom, that's where I am going right now to the beach.
Yeah go for it....its 1300 bucks/set! oh well, at least you can say you helped good ol USA!
If he can afford to spend 1300 dollars for a set of tires and wants to buy American why should he be mocked? Unfortunately, not all Goodyears are made in America.
