Ok what I'm looking for is a cat back system that gives a nice rumble when pulling away. Also maybe a little aggresive with the peddle down. But what I don't what is a lot of noise at cruise speeds, 55-80. Had a C4 with monza tips that wasn't to bad. I know about borla, corsa but don't know which one (model)would work. there have been some magna flows on ebay and a couple of other brands that aren't mentioned here to much. Don't want a BB or loud mouth, so I'm open to suggestions.

If you are looking for a classic muscle rumble at idle, and a real aggressive sound at WOT, look no further than GHL. The GHL system is fully polished to a mirror like shine, the welds are a thing of beauty and the system is made from mandrel bent 304 stainless. The tips are 4" classic round tips.
If you're interested in this system, please give me a call and I can have one shipped to your door!
My old flowmasters gave a great low end rumble and nice scream at the high end. But their tip selection is limited and in mine, the dang baffles ended up breaking loose and rattling around!!
I have Corsa Pace Car Tigershark setup and think it's actually pretty quiet at cruise. It's a little louder then stock at WOT. Of course that will "change" with headers, cam and a tune!
I have the Magnaflows in this link (above) on my 2004 coupe with auto trans. There is some drone at cruise. I love the look and sound (under acceleration) of the Magnaflows, but I would prefer to have zero drone at cruise.............
I looked and listeed for 3 months. I just completed the installation of Corsa pace car with pro tips catback system. I love it looks tuff on the car and the sound is great. My 2001 A4 is stock and after these pipes it feels like it it has woke up from the dead. Definete HP GAIN ! The sound is perfect to me at idle nice rumble, when you drive normal it is almost like stock, push the gas and the sound is that of pure muscle, WOT nice roar. cruise at 75 mph as quiet as stock. For me perfect exhaust. Buy the from Chip at CCA.
I have the Mid America Quad Power. They do exactly what you want, and they are less expensive then the Corsa's. The real test was when I got them on I took the wife for a ride and she looked at me as I went through the gears, but once I hit 5 gear they smooth right out same in 6th, but I don't use it much unless on ther interstate.
Here are a few pictures.

Did you also install their X pipe, and are you running headers or stock exhaust manifolds?
Thanks for the replys so far. At least now I have a starting point. That being said, as I get older I seem to want to tone down the exhaust LOL. 61, had str pipes; 64, cherry bombs; 84 monzatips, gutted cat; 99 still wondering. See what AARP does to you so you young guys enjoy LOL
