With Christmas right around the corner i am searching for an awesome gift for my boyfriend. He has a C5 2000 Corvette and he is crazy about it! I want to get him something for the vette or some sort of C5 gifts... i need help... please list some ideas that you might want to get from your girlfriend. THANKS

Well what is your budget to start with, and what does he already have. If I started a list it may be a lot of items he already has.

 

hmmm i will say about a hundred to a hundred and fifty i guess...

 

Zaino car products are always a wonderful gift!
It'll keep him in the driveway doing all those great things to his C5.......
washing, drying, polishing, buffing, detailing, cleaning the glass, and adding coats of polish.
The shine is incredible!

Another great idea is some fabulous Corvette t-shirts!

You can never have enough Vette t-shirts.

Oooh..........I almost forgot!

Vette poster for the garage or reckroom is always a must!

I would suggest a nice digital tire guage, it will help him guage his tires up to match all the way around.You can get them at an Auto Parts store such as Advance or Autozone. A nice would run around $25 to $30.

Feel him out for what he might want to get for his car and then buy him a gift certificate from a store/vendor that sells what he responds with! Once you know what he wants,,,post back here and I am sure somebody will help you find it for him!

 

haha well he has a few decals already like "objects in this mirror are losing" and a few others. his center console has a crack in the fabric and i would love to get him something to replace that with... something with the c5 logo on it... idk.... PLEASE HELP i really wanna get him something freaking AWESOME for his car.... if i had a ton of money i would buy him tires or something haha

If you can sneak his car away fom him for a little while take it to someone and have some pictures of you and the car together. That way he would have the two things he is crazy about in one picture. Just an idea that I would like myself.

Seriously, what ever you get him, he will be delighted that you put that much thought into his enthusiasm for his Corvette.

 

 

Several have suggested ZAINO products - which would be great for me, but not "everybody" is a Zaino freak like some of us. Also, you probably want to get him something that he will notice every time he looks at it and remember who gave it to him months or years from now?

Vette Essentials is awesome, but $150 won't get you very far and it may not be the color combo he would have chosen for himself?

Can't go wrong with a Gift Certificate from a Forum Vendor, but not quite as personal.

Maybe a chrome or black-chrome lettering insert kit for the bumpers in a Gift Certificate form where he can pick the one he likes best?

Here's some stuff that's in your range

1. Some stuff to wash the car (already mentioned)
2. Window Valet (Great if he has a coupe or convertible, it lets you put the windows up or down from the key fob and retain accessory power for longer.)
3. HID lights. JWMotoring (a forum vendor) has kits in your range. You could probably get him a set of low beams and fog lights.
4. Some Lloyds mats to dress up the interior a little bit.
5. Some accessories (keychain, shirt, jacket, etc.)
6. Interior and exterior LED lighting upgrades.
7. New shifter ****
8. iPod2Car cable (allows you to connect your ipod directly to the factory sound system,)

It would help if you'd post up a little more about his car. Is it a targa, convertible, FRC? Manual or automatic? Does he take it to the track? Does he drive it fast? What color is it? A lot of shops will do gift certificates for oil changes, another good gift idea.

Also, if you want to get a few more ideas, look over on the left side of the screen (it goes all the way down to the bottom) and you'll see a list of forum vendors. A lot of them sell stuff in your range, just click on their logo. You can also click on the "store" menu at the top of the page and select C5.

ok... forgive me i really don't know a whole lot about cars but this is what i do know about his... it's silver with black interior... it's a C5 2000 corvette... not a convertible exactly but he can remove the hard top... HE LOVES TO DRIVE FAST... and is part of a racing "club" i guess... it is a standard... he has dropped it... he has really cool tires.... leather seats... he loves that car almost more than he loves me and i have really come to like riding with him when he is driving fast... i like the idea of grabbing his car and taking pics it but i can't drive stick and i dunno how i could get his keys from him... but its a great idea and i might try and figure it out! Yall are so great thanks so much for helping me out! and thanks for the compliments.... i am just a girlfriend who wants to make her man smile at christmas!!!!
