Question about wagon wheels
Does anybody know if wagons came from the factory chrome in 1998. The code I have for my wheels is QD4. They are chrome now just wonder if that was done later. Thanks.

No C5 wheels came from the factory chromed. What you have is wheels that have been chromed after delivery or are reproduction ones.

Mine are OE. Have the GM stamp on the outer lip. Just got off the phone with the National Corvette Museum and chrome was not offered. So these were chromed later. Now does anyone have a OE 17" front chrome wagon that they want to get rid of?

As you have found out, no chrome for any year C5 from the factory.
Check the FS section, but one will definitely be tough to find.

if you are looking for chrome wagon wheels for sale I know a site that sells them. I guess I shouldn't just post them up here though since i don't think they are a supporting vendor on here. feel free to PM me for it though

Thing is, it was a lease vehicle (leased in late '97). Why would they chrome wheels on a lease vehicle? For sure the guy thet leased the car didn't have them chromed. Bastard didn't take good care of the car. Maybe I need to contact the dealer (Texas) and get to the bottom of this.
