Default tire sizes vs traction control issues

I am putting stock 275/40/18's on the rear, but before I put the 245/45/17 on the front again I just wanted to see if i can go wider without screwing up the traction control.

I would ideally like 275 all around.

i think its only if you go over 1" diameter between the front and back that TC starts going off..dont think it matters how wide the tires are

Stock Z is a 265 on the front, so I wouldn't think a 275 is a problem, but I don't know for sure. You want to have at least 1/2" difference in height for the TC.

many ppl run 275s or wider on the front. Just have the rear slighty wider and taller then the front tires 1/2" will do and no AH/TC problems

You can go wider but not in Diameter - it will cause issues, if you decide to go over or under the 1" buffer then you will need your PCM tuned to accept the new dimension

Thanks,Matt
